This is the cool cover for our latest Inbloom Stickers brochure designed by Matson Graphics. It shows a variety of our stickers available on our brand new website also designed by Matson Graphics. Seth from Matson Graphics had this to say about designing our brochure cover, “It was really easy coming up with the cover actually. I just thought about what Inbloom is all about and the words ‘colorful and stickers’ came to mind. They have such a huge variety of stickers and colors I thought I would just mix and match them all together to get a really eye popping splash of colors to really get the attention of the person holding it in their hands. Inbloom Stickers is a fun company and this reflects just that.”

Baseball Season and New Stickers

Since baseball season just started we decided to release two new baseball themed stickers to our Stick Figure Family Sticker line. For the girls we have our Softball Girl Sticker #789. And for the boys we have Baseball Boy #790. These two brand new designs reminds us of America’s favorite summer pastime. Baseball is synonymous with summer just like BBQ’s, playing at the beach or pool and going to the big fair. Take me out to the ball game!

Fresno Bully Rescue

Fresno Bully Rescue is an amazing organization dedicated to the bully breed. About six months ago we were looking for a new dog to adopt into our family. We had heard about FBR but we went to see it for ourselves. It is run by a great group of people that really love what they do, and they do it all for the love of their dogs and not the money. All money received by FBR goes back to the dogs. We ended up adopting Dinkey (see below) and making some stickers for FBR to help raise money for their great organization. Custom Stickers

One of the most common questions we get asked is if we make custom stickers for other businesses, individuals, and organizations. The short answer is YES! But the truth is we have to turn down the majority of custom requests for a variety of reasons. Because the way our machinery is set up, we have high minimums and that scares off some people. The style of artwork we need to work with must be very simple and be one solid color with no shading or fine lines. Many logos that we receive are multi-colored and too detailed for our process and would be much better suited for a full color printed sticker; this is something we just do not do. But when all the stars align it can be a beautiful thing.

We have had a long standing relationship with Ron Jon Surf Shops based out of Cocoa Beach, FL. They not only carry our line of Inbloom Stickers, we have also been making custom Ron Jon Surf Shop stickers for many years now. Our most recent project with them is the Ron Jon Family Strip Sticker. We collaborated with Huntington Beach graphic artist Seth Matson to design this new sticker. He started with a series of pencil sketches that we submitted to the Ron Jon team for approval. Once we found a direction they liked, we then converted the pencil sketches into computer graphics. After getting another approval from Ron Jon’s, we ordered a copper plate of the artwork so we could manufacture the stickers. Below is the progression from pencil sketch to computer graphics to the final sticker.

This design is available in white, red, soft pink, blue and black and is only available at Ron Jon’s Surf Shops and their website. Below are some of the other cool stickers we have done for Ron Jon’s.

Another type of custom sticker we often do is for a general location. Below is a recent sticker we made for the surf city of Santa Cruz, CA area stores. Again, this is the fine work from Seth Matson @ Matson Graphics.

Inbloom Stickers & Surfrider Foundation Beach Clean-up

Inbloom Stickers has partnered up with the city of Huntington Beach and the Surfrider Foundation to sponsor a beach clean up day this Saturday, March 26th. The location of the clean up will be at Goldenwest Street. If you are in the area it will be a great way to give back to our precious ocean and beaches. Inbloom Stickers has also donated some of our “Reduce Reuse Recycle” stickers to be given out to volunteers who show up and help out at the event. 30 New Stickers available now!

It took longer than we expected but all our new stickers are out and ready to ship. Our stick figure line has grown considerably with 16 new designs. We recently showed all the new stickers at some trade shows and the Trailer Trash family stickers were very popular. We came out with a dad, mom, son and daughter looking very white trash and there is even a Trailer sticker to accompany the family. They can be purchased individually on our website or you can buy the Trailer Trash Kit which includes all four family members at regular price and you get the Trailer sticker for FREE! The other very popular stick figure sticker was the military dad sticker; lots of praise for that one. To help round out the line, we also came out with a grandpa & grandma, a couple of soccer kids, nerdy kids, a policeman dad, cleaning mom and a cooking mom. Also within the stick figure line we came out with a NEW Flip Flop Pet Pack. This features a family of flip flops and pet paw prints. This also is already a very popular seller and sure to be a classic for many years to come.

On the traditional Inbloom Stickers side of things, we have introduced 5 new Regular size stickers. These include a couple of cute girly skulls, a mean/hardcore skull, a new butterfly and a cool celtic cross. For the Shorty size, we have two new ones; a tribal turtle and really cute mermaid. The mermaid drew a lot of attention from buyers at the recent trade shows and will be a top seller in 2011 for sure. We also came out with 5 new Mini size stickers; two adorable girly skulls and a punk rock skull, plus a new butterfly and turtle design.

We also have introduce two “local” stickers for the Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay areas. These are both Regular size stickers custom designed by Seth Matson at Matson Graphics in Huntington Beach, CA. (www.matsongraphics.com) So for people in the Santa Cruz or Monterey Bay areas, we now offer you a very cool “local” sticker for you and your ride. On our website these are Regular stickers #’s 093 and 094. Check em’ out.

Surf Expo

Happy New Year everyone. No rest for the wicked. Inbloom Stickers is off to Orlando, Florida this week for the biggest surf trade show in the nation. Surf Expo takes place twice a year and we are proud to be attending for our fifth year in a row. It takes place this week from January 6th through the 8th. Surf Expo is not open to the public. It is for buyers and store owners only to view the latest clothes, surf gear and skate gear the surfing world has to offer. There is also tons of beach related companies exhibiting their products at Surf Expo, so naturally Inbloom Stickers is a great fit for this show.

Surf Expo is one big party. The larger exhibiting companies have huge INCREDIBLE booths not only featuring their latest clothes and accessories, but they lure you in with bikini models, large screen plasma TV’s showing hot surfing action and some even offer beer and wine to their guests. In the skate section, a full on skate park is built inside the convention center and some of the best skaters in the world are going off in the half pipe while bands play live music in the background. Rumor is, Tony Hawk will be skating again this year. Besides that, there is just crazy people walking around everywhere. There is also fashion shows a few times a day, massage stations to take a break at, a sushi bar, and Stand Up Paddle demo’s done in a huge pool in the middle of the convention hall. The funky surf/skate world is on full display and the vibe at this show is unique compared to any other show we attend.

Inbloom Stickers will have it’s usual modest 10′ X 10′ booth again at Surf Expo. We are one of the smallest exhibiting companies at the show but we fit right in and we have fun not only at the show but at the after parties as well. We will be showing off all our new designs along with our new Inseason Sticker line. We look forward to seeing all our old friends and making some new ones.

Although Surf Expo is mainly all about business, it is one of the most fun shows to “work” at. The bikini models walking around don’t hurt either

Trade Show Season – It’s On!

We here at Inbloom Stickers have been doing trade shows for over 6 years now. Trade shows are a great way to meet new and existing business clients and show them what is new with us. This trade show season is about to begin with a show in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Then next month we will be back on the east coast at Surf Expo in Orlando, Florida. After that we will be in Las Vegas for two more shows. These shows are fun and exhausting all at the same time. This time around we will be unveiling our new Inseason Stickers for the first time at a trade show plus 27 new Inbloom Sticker designs. One of our biggest hits of 2010 was the release of our stick figure line of decals. With the release of 27 new designs, 15 of the new stickers will be in our stick figure category. We are really excited about our new trailer trash family stickers that even have an available trailer as an add on accessory! Also our new military dad sticker is killer and we are certain will be a huge hit. Look for all our new designs to hit our website before the end of the year, but lucky store buyers visiting us at the trade show this weekend will get to see everything early.

Whitetail Hunting In MN

Congratulations to all of the deer hunters that had a chance to hit the woods this past weekend. Although it was warmer than typical in Minnesota (and most states), it was a fantastic weekend to be up at the shack with a great group of friends. Although my group saw more hunters than whitetail, it was still serene to be back in the stand waiting for that dream buck. I have yet to see many positive reports from the MN opener, but the road from Black Duck to the Twin Cities was littered with ATV trailers stacked with deer. The only rack I had to show off was the Inseason whitetail sticker plastered on my back window! We’d love to see your photos and hear your stories! Hopefully, I will have something to show here shortly.
